Danielle Devlin, a Senior Front End Developer at Boston Digital, celebrated big on Wednesday, November 2nd. In true Boston Digital style, Danielle was awarded a brand-new car in honor of her tenth anniversary at the digital marketing firm.
Employees gathered around as CEO Chuck Murphy handed off the keys to a brand-new Jeep Wrangler. This isn’t the first celebration of its kind for Chuck Murphy. He has now given out 4 cars to various employees for their decade milestone. It is a reward promised to any team member who reaches the ten-year mark, which is made achievable by the fun, family-like culture at Boston Digital reared by generous CEO Chuck Murphy.
Chuck explains how he incepted the idea, “I always wanted to create a cool place to work - a fun environment where people feel recognized and appreciated. I used to watch shows like The Price Is Right and see contestants lose their minds over a new car. I guess it seemed like an exciting way to reward those who have gone above and beyond for the company.”
Over the last ten years, Danielle has been a crucial contributor to the Boston Digital dev team. As a senior front-end developer, Danielle delivers clean, efficient code that follows web standards and supports responsive design.
When asking Danielle about a standout memory over the last ten years she tells us, “There are so many fond memories I’ve had over the years, all the Holiday parties, summer outings, dressing up as Santas at the casino, and rowing on the Charles. But what stands out to me the most is how BD was when I had my twin boys. They were so supportive and flexible with me, they even built me a ‘moms room’ in the office which just meant the world. So to me, it was easy to stay at BD for 10 years.”
